Weather Radar – Model JY-33
The JY-33 Weather Radar is a S-band IF coherent Doppler with high detection capabilities.
It can monitor weather targets within the range of 500km around radar site, perform intensity of weather targets quantificational measurement within range of 250km, monitor average radial velocity and speed spectrum width of the precipitation particles within the range of 250km.
It can provide real-time weather information, so it is a strong tool in short time forecast, analysis of mesoscale, small-scale weather system and prediction of strong convection weather disaster.
JY-33 radar has a wide variety of services not only in observatories of all-levels, but also in irrigation, agriculture, salt field, transportation and atmospheric buy oxymorphone physics research fields.l High gain, low side lobe parabolic antenna.
